The National Elections Commission (CNE) decided today that the re-run of the in-person voting in the European Parliament will take place on March 12 and 13, and that postal votes will be considered if received by March 23.
This schedule was announced by Vera Penedo, of the CNE, during a press conference at the National Assembly, and she said that the results of the European Constituency will be known on March 25.
On Tuesday, the Constitutional Court unanimously decided to declare the nullity of the legislative elections in 151 polling stations in the European constituency where there was a mixture of valid and invalid votes, not accompanied by a copy of the identification document, and to order their repetition.

Lisboa, 16 fev 2022 (Lusa) – A Comissão Nacional de Eleições (CNE) deliberou hoje que a repetição da votação presencial no círculo da Europa terá lugar dias 12 e 13 de março e os votos por via postal serão considerados se recebidos até 23.
Este calendário foi divulgado por Vera Penedo, da CNE, em conferencia de imprensa, na Assembleia da República, adiantando que os resultados no circulo da Europa serão conhecidos no dia 25 de março.
Na terça-feira, o Tribunal Constitucional decidiu, por unanimidade, declarar a nulidade das eleições legislativas em 151 assembleias de voto do círculo da Europa em que houve mistura de votos válidos com votos inválidos, não acompanhados de cópia do documento de identificação, e determinar a sua repetição.
