The International Portuguese Music Awards (IPMA) has found a new home in Providence, Rhode Island.
During the launch party, which takes place on Saturday, November 20 of this year, IPMA will reveal some details of what people can expect to see at the next awards show.
There will be entertainment by DJ Son & DJ Prince of Phoenix Productions, as well as an acoustic performance by Tim, of the renowned rock band Xutos e Pontapés.
The tenth edition of the International Portuguese Music Awards is slated for Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the historic Providence Performing Arts Center.
Tickets will go on sale to the public in late November but launch party guests will have access to an exclusive pre-sale.
This event includes a collaboration with Rhode Island based Brands of Portugal – Wine & Spirits so guests at the party can try some products from Portugal.
Launch party tickets can be reserved through ipmaAWARDS.com. Doors open at 8 PM.

There are thirteen trophies up for grabs in categories including rock, rap, fado, music video, and best new talent. IPMA is accepting submissions through their official website until November 30, 2021.
Past editions of the awards show have included participation from some of the top names in music including Roberto Leal, Daniela Mercury, Carminho, Pedro Abrunhosa, Boss AC, Rita Guerra, and João Pedro Pais. Fans can expect a top-notch lineup for the milestone year.
