Portuguese Americans For Higher Education (PAFHE, Inc.), has been providing higher education scholarships over the past 30 years.
Scholarships are available to students residing in Peabody, Salem, Danvers, Lynn, or Beverly. The deadline for submitting applications is March 15, 2020.
PAFHE was founded in 1990, in Peabody, Massachusetts and is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.
Since 1991, PAFHE awarded a total of 220 scholarships for higher education to local families totaling $272,000.
PAFHE emphasizes the value and necessity of higher education to the Portuguese community, particularly to families where education was not attainable due to socioeconomic limitations.
Their focus efforts are in the North Shore of Massachusetts which historically have large Portuguese immigrant populations.

The celebration of cocktails, dinner, and dancing will take place at Danversport Yacht Club in Danvers, Massachusetts, on the evening of Saturday, March 14, 2020.
