Labor Day weekend marks the unofficial end of summer and there are many Portuguese feasts (festivals) taking place in Portuguese communities across New England on this weekend.
One of the most popular Portuguese feasts north of Boston is Our Lady of Loreto in Lowell, MA. This 3 day Grand Portuguese Outdoor Festa during the Labor Day weekend takes place at Holy Ghost Park in Lowell at 65 Village Street in Lowell, MA.
This year’s entertainment will feature Enio opening for Arlindo Andrade and his band, Banda Espírito Santo of Lowell, Vana & Tony Borges opening for Luis Neves and his band and David DeMelo and Band.
In addition to great entertainment, the feast will also feature great Portuguese Food (including Bifanas, Linguica Sandwiches, Favas, Malassadas, Carne de Espeto, Sardinhas & more) – Cash Bar – Raffles – Kid’s Playground
