International Portuguese Music Awards is Ready to Launch

A muito esperada festa de lançamento do International Portuguese Music Awards está marcada para sábado, 3 de novembro de 2018 às 20h no restaurante marina The Cove em Fall River, Massachusetts. Desde 2013 que o IPMA tem reconhecido artistas notáveis de ascendência Portuguesa na indústria da música.

Os participantes na festa de lançamento serão os primeiros a descobrir os detalhes da sétima edição dos premiados, incluindo a lista de artistas nomeados. No ano passado, os grandes nomes que viajaram de Portugal continental, incluiam os Xutos e Pontapés, Miguel Angelo, Carlão (ex-vocalista da Da Weasel), e uma performance surpresa de Rui Bandeira. Também no palco estavam David DeMelo e Manhattan Camerata, que em 2017 ganharam um IPMA de melhor performance instrumental.

Este evento também incluirá uma pré-venda exclusiva de bilhetes para o Internacional Portuguese Music Awards 2019, para que os seguidores mais afetos possam ter acesso aos melhores lugares do show antes que os bilhetes estejam disponíveis para o público em geral.

Não podemos esperar para compartilhar as novidades do IPMA 2019 na nossa Festa de Lançamento no próximo mês de novembro. ”

Os ingressos para a festa de lançamento custam US $ 25 e podem ser adquiridos aqui.

O IPMA está a aceitar atualmente inscrições para nomear premiados até 30 de novembro de 2018. Os artistas são qualificados se tiverem ascendência Portuguesa e tiverem publicado músicas entre 1 de dezembro de 2017 e 30 de novembro de 2018. Artistas a solo, duos e grupos musicais são incentivados a inscreverem-se. Em 2018 houve trinta e cinco candidatos de oito países: Brasil, Canadá, Cabo Verde, Luxemburgo, Holanda, Nigéria, Portugal e EUA.

The much awaited International Portuguese Music Awards launch party is coming up on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at 8 pm at The Cove Restaurant and Marina in Fall River, Massachusetts. IPMA has recognized outstanding achievement in the music industry by artists of Portuguese descent since 2013.

Attendees of the launch party will be the first ones to find out the details for the seventh edition of the award show including the performer lineup. Last year featured big names that traveled from mainland Portugal including Xutos & Pontapés, Miguel Angelo, Carlão (former frontman of Da Weasel), and a surprise performance by Rui Bandeira. Also on stage was David DeMelo and Manhattan Camerata, who in 2017 won an IPMA for best instrumental performance.

This event will also include an exclusive ticket presale to the 2019 International Portuguese Music Awards so that partygoers can have access to the best seats to the show before they become available to the general public. Apps/ h’dourves will be served all night, valet parking will be provided, and there will be DJ Entertainment by award-winning Melo Musik.

“IPMA is excited to continue to build on the momentum from the last six years. Anyone that has attended one of our shows can attest to how entertaining it is,” explains IPMA co-founder David Saraiva. “It’s important to support all these talented, international Luso artists and encourage them to continue creating great music. Every year the show has its unique characteristics and we think 2019 will be one to remember for sure. We can’t wait to share the details for 2019 IPMA at our Launch Party this coming November.”

IPMA is currently accepting submissions for award nominations until November 30, 2018. Artists are eligible if they have Portuguese ancestry and have released music between December 1, 2017 and November 30, 2018. Solo artists, duos, and groups are all encouraged to enter.
