TAP flights bring you closer to Porto and New York and will be served by one of the world’s most modern aircrafts, the Airbus A321 Long Range, which offers the most advanced level of comfort, efficiency, and technology.
The connections between Porto and New York/Newark will take place every day of the week except Tuesdays.
Tickets for these flights are already being sold at www.flytap.com or through the other usual channels.
Recently, TAP announced that would offer more direct flights from Porto to Brussels, Lyon and Munich.
This ramping up of routes from Porto Airport means that TAP operates 19 direct routes from Porto to Europe, the United States and also to Brazil, with a total of 288 weekly flights.
The new routes that TAP will inaugurate this year from Porto represent a 34% increase in direct connections from Porto to Europe compared to last year.
Nevertheless, it should be remembered that in 2018 the Company had already increased the number of connections to Europe with the start of operations to Barcelona, London (London City Airport), Milan and Ponta Delgada.
TAP’s investment in Porto is possible thanks to the increase in the number of aircrafts.
TAP will receive 37 new aircrafts by the end of this year and 71 by 2025.
The new fleet allows the Company to fly to new destinations and boost the number of flights.

TAP triplica ligações entre o Porto e Nova Iorque
Os voos da TAP que aproximam ainda mais o Porto e Nova Iorque vão ser operados com um dos mais modernos aviões do mundo, o Airbus A321 Long Range, que oferece os mais avançados níveis de conforto, eficiência e tecnologia.
As ligações entre o Porto e Nova Iorque / Newark vão realizar-se todos os dias da semana, exceto às terças-feiras. Os bilhetes para estes voos já estão à venda em www.flytap.com ou pelos outros canais habituais.
Recentemente, a TAP tinha já anunciado que o Porto ia contar com mais voos diretos também para Bruxelas, Lyon e Munique.
Este reforço das rotas a partir do Aeroporto do Porto faz com que a TAP passe a operar 19 rotas diretas do Porto para a Europa, para os Estados Unidos e também para o Brasil. Um total de 288 frequências semanais. As novas rotas que a TAP inaugurará este ano a partir do Porto, representam um aumento de 34% de ligações diretas do Porto à Europa, comparativamente com o ano passado.
Ainda assim, recorde-se que, em 2018, a Companhia já tinha aumentado o número de ligações à Europa, com o arranque da operação para Barcelona, Londres (Aeroporto de London City), Milão e Ponta Delgada.
Este investimento da TAP no Porto é também possível graças ao reforço de aeronaves. A TAP receberá 37 novos aviões até ao final deste ano e 71 até 2025. A nova frota permite à Companhia voar para novos destinos e reforçar frequências.
