Lisbon, 28th March 2020 (Lusa) – Portugal now has 100 deaths associated with Covid-19, 24 more than on Friday, while the number of infected rose by 902 to 5,170, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health.

The report on the epidemiological situation in Portugal, with data updated until Friday 24:00, indicates that the Northern region has the highest number of deaths (44), followed by the Centre region (28), the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region (27) and the Algarve (1).

In relation to Friday, when 76 deaths were registered, today there was an increase of 31.5%.

According to DGS data, there are 5,170 confirmed cases, 902 more (an increase of 21.1%) than on Friday.

Lisboa, 28 mar 2020 (Lusa) – Portugal regista hoje 100 mortes associadas à covid-19, mais 24 do que na sexta-feira, enquanto o número de infetados subiu 902, para 5.170, segundo o boletim epidemiológico da Direção-Geral da Saúde.

O relatório da situação epidemiológica em Portugal, com dados atualizados até às 24:00 de sexta-feira, indica que a região Norte é a que regista o maior número de mortes (44), seguida da região Centro (28), da região de Lisboa e Vale do Tejo (27) e do Algarve (1).

Relativamente a sexta-feira, em que se registaram 76 mortes, hoje observou-se um aumento de 31,5%.

De acordo com dados da DGS, há 5.170 casos confirmados, mais 902 (um aumento de 21,1%) face a sexta-feira.
